With the new Fireworks beta posted on Adobe Labs, users have new ways of collaborating and sharing prototypes with their teams and customers using Adobe PDF.

After creating your click-through prototype in Fireworks, you can share your work using Adobe PDF to your client and team to review and comment on. In Fireworks’ Export dialog window, there is a new export option for PDF:

When exporting to PDF, your hot-spots and page navigation that are part of your prototype are preserved and are navigable in Adobe Reader when it loads the exported PDF.

In addition, for organizations that wish to password protect or restrict tasks associated with the PDF, the PDF Export options window gives you this level of control:

Now after publishing your prototype, team members and customers can review and comment using standard Adobe Reader tools:

This is just one of the ways that the Fireworks beta is opening up how you can collaborate and share your prototypes and designs. To check out the new PDF export option, and other new features in the new Fireworks beta, download the beta from Adobe Labs.
