I am happy to announce that I have created a “home” for the ActionScript 3 training materials that have been created for Adobe TV and other outlets. On this blog, you can find links to all of the training videos as well as sample files that go with them.
Additional videos are in production and I will link to them here and provide additional sample files and other materials.
Finally, I will be releasing written documentation and training information on this site to accompany the tutorials to go in more depth and cover additional topics about ActionScript 3.0.
You can find all of the materials at the ActionScript 1:1 page. Enjoy!

The action script tutorials are excellent because:
1. Calm voice
2. It starts from the very bottom, culminating on the clock. It is impossible to miss something if every episode is seen.
3. The zoom and pan of the screen captures are literally impeccable.
If am amazed to be the first to post.
3 notes:
The open door always present at the back, looks like a background image, since it is always on the same sun/light height, no movement. Is there a reason for it?
The loading here is a bit slow.
It definitely improved my AS skills. thanks, and keep up the good work!
Regards Avraham.
I wanted the videos to feel like it was a personal one-on-one conversation and that it was in a comfortable setting, so the background is actually digitally created, and is the same across all of the videos.
Glad you enjoyed the videos!
Doug,
I’ve been watching your podcasts via iTunes and I’m always checking to see if the new episode is up 2 or 3 days before it comes out.
They really are very good.
I was beginning to get pretty decent with as 2, and then actionscript 3 comes along and changes so many things–I know the principles are the same but it sure does help when someone can explain it to you and show you at the same time.
Can’t wait til you get into working with video!
